Junior Magazine Design Awards 2016 Results Announced

The results of the Junior Magazine Design Awards 2016 have just been announced and are available to view on their website.

Of all the baby products awards my favourite has always been The Junior Design Awards. They genuinely return results that are based on great product design and never follow any populist voting or select a brand because lots of consumers voted or because a brand is BIG.

It’s all about the products and the design and the functionality.

Having looked through the lists of winners and runners up there are some stunning products in the list, many of which I have not come across before so it is worthy of a look.

Really pleased to see the Nomi Highchair won the Platinum Award for Best Highchair Design – that is a product we use ourselves. Please read my Nomi Highchair Review from a couple of months ago for my full thoughts on that. This award validates my already very high opinion of it.

Lots of lovely pushchairs, furniture, bags etc also on display with some very worthy winner by the looks of it. The Silver Cross Surf special edition looks great and I am pleased to see that the forthcoming Hybrid stroller by Babystyle won a Platinum Award for Most Innovative Parenting Product. I saw this being demonstrated at Harrogate in March and really did look the bomb! Have a look at their YouTube trailer video about the Hybrid.

Delighted to see that the 90th anniversary edition of Winnie The Pooh won the Best Classic Children’s Book award and great that The BFG came second. They were two favourites from my own childhood.

The other main categories in the Junior Magazine Design Awards 2016 are Kids Fashion, Family Food & Dining, Family Travel and Toys.
